Alev is a German rock band from Munich. The band was formed in 2001 as a result of a meeting of Alev Lenz with Patrick Fleischer, who owns a recording studio . Patrick was so excited by Alev's voice that he suggested their joint rehearsal. Together with Martin, they recorded Sleeping Beauty and got a publishing deal at BMG.
After a few changes in the band and a self-published album Alev 2004 signed a record deal with SAD Music, in the wake of the album We Live appeared in Paradise .
Surprisingly Alev Lenz decided in mid-October 2005 to leave the band and devote himself to a solo career. Alexandra Janzen filled in the resulting gap.
In April and May 2006, the crew went on an 18-day China tour. She has performed at the Midi Modern Music Festival in Beijing , China's largest music festival. Immediately followed in May 2006, the Turkey -Tour, the stations there were u. a. Istanbul , Ankara and Cappadoccia.
On May 23, 2008, the album ALEV was released by Fastball Music / SonyBMG.
