Drink & Draw combines creativity and socialising in a relaxed event where drawing becomes part of a shared night out. Rather than approaching art as a formal class, the concept encourages participants to pick up a pencil or pen, enjoy a drink and create alongside other people. It offers an accessible way to explore drawing without the pressure often associated with traditional art lessons.
Events built around the Drink & Draw concept can welcome everyone from experienced illustrators to complete beginners. The emphasis is on participation, experimentation and enjoying the creative process, making artistic ability less important than simply getting involved. Depending on the event, drawing prompts, models, themes or challenges can provide inspiration throughout the session.
A Drink & Draw event offers something different from a conventional evening at a bar or a standard creative workshop. Guests can meet people, exchange ideas and leave with artwork created during the experience, however serious or playful it may be. For friends, couples, artists and curious beginners alike, Drink & Draw provides an entertaining way to combine creativity with a sociable night out.
