Heartworms is the musical project of London artist Jojo Orme, whose dark and compelling approach to alternative music combines post punk, gothic atmosphere, electronic textures, and commanding songwriting. After attracting attention with early singles and the A Comforting Notion EP, Heartworms continued to develop a distinctive identity built around sharp rhythms, brooding guitars, and dramatic vocals. Working with acclaimed producer Dan Carey has further shaped a sound that feels precise, intense, and unmistakably contemporary, establishing Heartworms as an exciting presence in British alternative music.

Live, Heartworms translates this tightly controlled sound into a striking performance filled with tension, movement, and atmosphere. Rhythmic guitars, electronic elements, dramatic lighting, and Orme's commanding stage presence create a concert experience that feels carefully constructed while retaining the urgency of post punk. The contrast between moments of restraint and sudden bursts of intensity gives the performances a cinematic quality that suits both intimate venues and festival stages.

For fans of post punk, gothic rock, dark alternative music, and adventurous new artists, a Heartworms concert offers an opportunity to experience one of the most distinctive projects to emerge from London's contemporary music scene. With a strong visual identity, ambitious songwriting, and an increasingly confident live presence, Heartworms brings together sound and performance in a way that makes the project particularly compelling on stage.
