Jimmy Carr is one of Britain's most recognisable comedians, known for his rapid fire one liners, dark humour and unmistakable laugh. Born in London, Carr built his reputation on the stand up circuit before becoming a familiar presence on British television. His sharp delivery and willingness to explore provocative subjects have helped establish a distinctive comedy style that has attracted audiences across the UK and internationally.

Alongside his stand up career, Jimmy Carr has become closely associated with popular television programmes including 8 Out of 10 Cats and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, while also appearing across numerous comedy and entertainment shows. Years of extensive touring have remained central to his career, with Carr continually developing new material and taking his tightly constructed jokes to theatres and arenas around the world.

Live, Jimmy Carr delivers a fast paced comedy experience packed with punchlines, audience interaction and the deliberately outrageous humour for which he is famous. His precise timing and relentless flow of jokes make the theatre the ideal environment for his comedy, while exchanges with the crowd can add an unpredictable element to every performance. For audiences who enjoy edgy stand up, clever wordplay and unapologetically dark comedy, a Jimmy Carr show offers an opportunity to experience one of the UK's best known comedians live.
