Lambrini Girls are a ferocious Brighton-based punk duo known for their explosive live shows, unapologetic political stance, and razor-sharp sense of humour. Combining riot grrrl energy with a modern punk sensibility, the band has quickly built a reputation as one of the UK’s most vital and outspoken acts. Fronted by Phoebe Lunny (vocals, guitar) and Lilly Macieira (bass), Lambrini Girls channel pure chaos and catharsis into every performance, tackling issues of feminism, queer identity, and social injustice with a blend of fury and wit.

Emerging from Brighton’s thriving underground scene, Lambrini Girls first grabbed attention with their no-holds-barred gigs and early singles like Homewrecker and Help Me I’m Gay. Their breakthrough came with the 2023 EP You’re Welcome, a blistering collection of tracks that combine biting satire with unapologetic rage, earning praise from the likes of BBC Radio 6 Music and NME. Songs such as White Van and Lads Lads Lads exemplify their sharp, confrontational approach to songwriting – packed with punchy riffs, sardonic humour, and a fearless critique of toxic culture.

Their music is as much a rallying cry as it is a performance, drawing influence from classic punk icons like Bikini Kill and The Slits while carving out a distinctly modern, queer punk identity. Known for smashing boundaries both on and off stage, Lambrini Girls’ shows often blur the line between music and protest – chaotic, sweaty, and defiantly inclusive.

In 2024 and beyond, the duo continue to take their message and mayhem across the UK and Europe, performing at major festivals and supporting acts like Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and Iggy Pop. With their irreverent humour and uncompromising social commentary, Lambrini Girls are more than just a band – they’re a movement for self-expression, rebellion, and unfiltered joy.
