Love are one of the defining American psychedelic rock bands of the 1960s, originally formed in Los Angeles and forever associated with the songwriting and vision of Arthur Lee. Blending psychedelic rock, folk, garage rock, orchestral pop and rhythm and blues, Love created music that captured both the optimism and darker complexities of their era. Their adventurous arrangements and distinctive songwriting have given the band an enduring influence that reaches far beyond their original period of activity.

The band's most celebrated album, Forever Changes, released in 1967, has become a landmark of psychedelic and orchestral rock, featuring songs including "Alone Again Or" and "A House Is Not a Motel". Earlier recordings such as "My Little Red Book" and "7 and 7 Is" revealed a harder garage rock edge, demonstrating the remarkable range within Love's catalogue. Arthur Lee's songwriting combined memorable melodies with unconventional structures and thoughtful lyrics, creating a body of work that continues to attract new generations of listeners.

Live performances celebrating the music of Love give audiences the opportunity to hear this influential catalogue beyond the original recordings. The combination of psychedelic melodies, dynamic guitar work and richly arranged songs makes the material particularly rewarding in concert, where quieter passages can sit alongside explosive rock moments. For fans of classic psychedelia, 1960s rock and timeless songwriting, seeing the music of Love performed live offers a chance to experience one of rock history's most distinctive catalogues.
