Margaret Glaspy, an accomplished American singer and songwriter, has made her mark in the world of indie music. Born on January 22, 1989, in Sacramento, California, she spent her formative years in Red Bluff, where she honed her musical talents. Her journey into music began at a young age when she started playing the fiddle in the third grade, later adding the guitar and trombone during high school. At sixteen, she decided to focus exclusively on the guitar, recognizing her passion for the instrument.

Margaret's commitment to her musical craft led her to the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Although financial constraints forced her to leave after just one semester, her determination remained unwavering. She continued to attend workshops and masterclasses at Berklee, steadily refining her skills. Soon, she began performing at local venues in Boston, laying the foundation for her musical career.

In 2012, Margaret Glaspy ventured into the realm of solo music, releasing her EP titled "Homeschool." Her talent caught the attention of ATO Records in 2015, marking a significant milestone in her career. The following year, in January 2016, she released a 7-inch EP featuring tracks like "You and I" and "Somebody to Anybody," both of which would find their place on her critically acclaimed 2016 album, "Emotions and Math."

Her rising star saw her sharing the stage with renowned artists like Neko Case and Kimya Dawson during a North American tour in early 2019. Margaret Glaspy continued to captivate audiences with her unique sound and meaningful lyrics.

In March 2020, she unveiled her second full-length album, "Devotion," which further solidified her status as a compelling songwriter and performer.

Not resting on her laurels, Margaret Glaspy released her third full-length album, "Echo the Diamond," on August 18, 2023. Her music remains a testament to her unyielding dedication to the craft and her ever-evolving artistry.
