My Vitriol, the London alternative rock band fronted by singer and guitarist Som Wardner, emerged at the turn of the millennium with a distinctive combination of soaring melodies, dense guitar textures, and powerful rock dynamics. Formed by Wardner and drummer Ravi Kesavaram, the band gained widespread attention with their debut album Finelines, featuring standout tracks including "Always: Your Way," "Losing Touch," and "Cemented Shoes." Their atmospheric approach blends alternative rock, shoegaze, and post-grunge influences, creating a layered sound that helped My Vitriol build a dedicated following within the British rock scene.

Live, My Vitriol translate their expansive recordings into an intense and atmospheric concert experience. Waves of distorted guitars, driving rhythms, melodic vocals, and carefully constructed dynamics give their performances a sound that can move seamlessly from introspective passages to powerful walls of noise. Their combination of melody and distortion makes the band's concerts particularly compelling for audiences drawn to the heavier side of shoegaze and emotionally charged alternative rock.

For fans of alternative rock, shoegaze, and guitar-driven music, seeing My Vitriol live offers the opportunity to experience the distinctive sound that has sustained their cult following over the years. With memorable songs, immersive guitar textures, and a reputation built around their individual approach to British alternative music, My Vitriol remain an intriguing live proposition for longtime followers and new listeners alike.
