Noel Thomas David Gallagher, born on May 29, 1967, in Longsight, Manchester, is an English musician, singer, and songwriter. Renowned as one of the most successful and influential songwriters in British music history, Gallagher gained prominence as the primary songwriter, lead guitarist, and co-lead vocalist of the rock band Oasis until their split in 2009. Following the breakup, he formed Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.
