The Big Chris Barber Band

I have been a fan of the Chris Barber Band/Chris Barber Jazz & Blues band/Big Chris Barber Band since the 50s. I first saw them in concert at Manchester Free Trade Hall in 1960 and have seen them over twenty times in subsequent years. They never cease to amaze me with their superb playing of the jazz and blues music of southern USA from the early part of the last century. This concert saw them in as good form as ever.
