The Dogs D'Amour are a British rock band known for their distinctive blend of glam rock, blues, punk and raw rock and roll. Formed in London during the 1980s and closely associated with singer, songwriter and guitarist Tyla, the band developed a sound filled with swagger, emotion and gritty storytelling. Their combination of rebellious attitude and romantic songwriting helped The Dogs D'Amour build a dedicated following within the British rock scene.
Albums including In the Dynamite Jet Saloon, Errol Flynn and Straight??!! helped establish The Dogs D'Amour as a distinctive force in late 1980s and early 1990s rock. Songs such as "How Come It Never Rains", "Satellite Kid" and "Victims of Success" showcase the band's ability to combine memorable melodies with blues influenced guitars and Tyla's instantly recognisable vocals. Their music has retained its cult appeal, attracting listeners drawn to authentic, character driven rock and roll.
Live, The Dogs D'Amour bring their catalogue to the stage with the rough edged energy and emotional character that have long defined their music. Their concerts can move between powerful rock songs and more reflective moments, giving audiences a chance to experience both sides of the band's distinctive style. For longtime followers and fans discovering their music for the first time, The Dogs D'Amour offer a live experience rooted in songwriting, attitude and classic British rock and roll.
