THE LORDS OF ALTAMONT are an American garage rock band from Los Angeles, known for their explosive combination of garage punk, psychedelic rock and raw rock and roll. Formed around frontman Jake Cavaliere, the group draw inspiration from the rebellious sounds of the 1960s and 1970s while delivering them with the speed, distortion and attitude of punk. Their unmistakable combination of fuzz driven guitars, keyboards and forceful vocals has earned them a dedicated following within the international underground rock scene.
Across their career, THE LORDS OF ALTAMONT have developed a catalogue steeped in vintage rock influences while maintaining an aggressive identity of their own. Albums including To Hell With The Lords Of Altamont and Lords Have Mercy helped establish their reputation for uncompromising garage rock. Their music embraces the danger and excitement associated with classic underground rock and roll, combining memorable riffs with a deliberately rough edged approach.
Live, THE LORDS OF ALTAMONT turn that sound into a high intensity rock show driven by guitars, keyboards, pounding rhythms and commanding stage presence. Their concerts capture the physical energy that has always been central to garage rock, making the music feel immediate and unpredictable. For fans of garage punk, psychedelic rock and unapologetic rock and roll, THE LORDS OF ALTAMONT offer a concert experience designed to be played loud.
