The Streets is the musical project of British rapper, producer, and songwriter Mike Skinner, a pioneering voice in UK garage and alternative hip hop. Emerging in the early 2000s, Skinner revolutionised British music by pairing sharp, observational storytelling with minimalist, innovative beats that captured the realities of everyday life in the UK.
