Tom High is a singer songwriter and performer bringing original music to audiences through live appearances and contemporary songwriting. Working within the independent music landscape, his performances offer listeners an opportunity to connect with songs directly, placing melody, lyrics and musical personality at the centre of the experience.
Singer songwriter performances can offer a particularly direct form of live music, with the strength of a song often resting on its words, melody and delivery rather than elaborate production. Tom High's live appearances provide a setting where these elements can come forward, giving audiences the chance to hear the detail and character of the material in person.
For listeners interested in discovering new songwriting and independent performers, seeing Tom High live offers an opportunity to experience his music beyond recordings. The atmosphere of a venue can add a different dimension to familiar material while introducing newcomers to the songs in their most immediate form. It is a chance to support original live music and discover an artist through performance.
