How can I buy tickets for the 2026 European Athletics Championships?

Firstly, so you have everything you need ahead of purchasing tickets, we'd strongly recommend creating an Eventim UK account ahead of the on sale. By creating an account, you can also sign up to the TicketAlarm - alerting you as soon as tickets for the European Athletics Championships go on sale! 

Tickets go on sale Wednesday 10 September at 10am BST.

Tickets for the 2026 European Athletics Championships will be sold exclusively through Eventim UK.

How much do tickets cost?

Witnessing world class sport shouldn't break the bank and that's why tickets for the European Athletics Championships start at just £5 for juniors and £10 for adults. 50% of all tickets cost less than £30, making it an affordable, family-friendly day out. 

A junior ticket, available in categories C, D and E is for those 16 years and under at the date of the event. Juniors must be accompanied by their parent, guardian or responsible adult.

Where are the Championships taking place?

The European Athletics Championships 2026 will be taking place at the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham - the first time the games have ever come to the UK!

When do the Championships take place?

The Championships take place across seven, action-packed days from 10 - 16 August 2026, comprising 6 Morning Sessions and 7 Evening Sessions.

Where can I find accessible tickets?

Accessible tickets can be booked from Wednesday 10 September, when tickets open up to the general public. 

Wheelchair and Easy Access tickets are available for all sessions, with adult and junior accessible tickets priced at the lowest price category (category E), and bookable online. Easy Access tickets are available for ambulant disabled spectators, spectators with a visual or hearing impairment and hidden disabilities. You can book one Easy Access ticket and one complimentary companion ticket online.

Wheelchair and complimentary companion tickets are also available to book online. These are reserved for wheelchair users only. 

Guide and Assistance Dogs are more than welcome at the stadium, but please notify ticketing@birmingham26.co.uk at the time of booking to make them aware. 

If you are visually impaired/hearing impaired and require specific seating, please submit your request here. 

Please note - proof of eligibility will be required, and you will be requested to submit this in advance of the Championships.

 

How do I make a group booking?

For requests from travel agencies, fan groups, federations, or companies, please use our group order form here to submit your inquiry. Our team will be happy to get in touch with further details and assistance, however, please note that a Group Order process has already been run, prior to public sales and ticket requests cannot be guaranteed. 

Are there VIP or hospitality tickets?

Currently, only general admission tickets will be available for purchase.
