With best seat booking we will automatically choose the best seats available depending on your chosen price level and the number of tickets you require.

Seating chart booking

The EVENTIM Seating chart booking allows you to purchase exactly the seats you want for an event at a specific venue. Open the seating plan for an overview of all available seats, then click on the seats you want to select them.

Please note that the EVENTIM Seating chart booking is not available for all events.

General admission

General admission refers to seating or standing areas that are not assigned or reserved, and are occupied on a first-come, first-served basis. When purchasing tickets for a General admission event, you may be quoted section, row and seat numbers, however these are for inventory purposes only and do not reflect any actual seating location. Seating arrangements vary for each event, and there may or may not be seats of any kind available.

Seat or standing ticket subject to availability

This price category mainly comprises seats, although this is not guaranteed. Under certain circumstances, you may receive a standing ticket for the same price. We're sorry, but we cannot guarantee to fulfil specific wishes regarding seating or standing tickets. It is not possible to exchange the tickets you receive.

Currently not available

If an event, price level or ticket type is 'Not currently available' then all tickets in that category have been sold.

EVENTIM makes every effort to obtain more tickets so check our website regularly for updates.

Delivery not available

If the event is taking place a few days after you place your order, the option to have your tickets delivered via Standard mail will no longer be available. Depending on the event it may be possible to collect your tickets at the venue or print your tickets yourself using ticketdirect.

Only single seats available

In your chosen price level there are now only single seats available. Although there may be a large number of seats available they will not be next to each other. It may be possible to book consecutive seats in a different price level or by using the EVENTIM Seating chart booking.

Concessions

Concession tickets are often available, e.g. to students, children and seniors. If purchasing concession priced tickets, proof of entitlement, e.g. a valid student id card, may be requested by the venue.

By Train

The Anvil is just across the road from Basingstoke train station. Basingstoke is on the London Waterloo line; 45-60 mins from Waterloo, 30-35 mins from Southampton Central. Trains run in both directions until just before midnight.

By Bike

Cycle parking is available at the front of The Anvil, underneath the car park ramp to the right of the entrance. More information on cycling in Basingstoke can be found at the BDBC Cycling website.

By Bus

Basingstoke town centre bus station is a ten minute walk away through Festival Place shopping centre.

On Foot

Once in the town centre, walk to The Malls shopping area near the train station. The Anvil's entrance is at the end of The Malls, down a flight of stairs or a ramp.

By Car

Basingstoke is at junction six of the M3, and on the A33 south of Reading. Follow signs for Town Centre and brown signs to The Anvil. Parking in The Anvil car park is currently £1 from 6pm. For satnav or route planning, the postcode for The Anvil and The Forge is RG21 7QR, and The Haymarket is RG21 7NW.

Access Facilities

Anvil Arts operates a free Access List in order to improve our service to patrons with access needs. Registration forms are available from the Box Office or at the foot of the page.

Both ticket sales counters have drop-down or lowered sections for wheelchair users.

The Anvil is equipped with infra-red hearing enhancement systems for use with headsets, or portable induction loops. Both are available from the stewards' point.

Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans are available on request.

The Anvil

Up to eight wheelchair spaces are available in The Anvil. There is a lift to the circle level, and accessible toilets on both floors. Four free badge parking spaces are situated at the front of The Anvil, and further spaces near the lifts in The Anvil car park.
