With best seat booking we will automatically choose the best seats available depending on your chosen price level and the number of tickets you require.

Seating chart booking

The EVENTIM Seating chart booking allows you to purchase exactly the seats you want for an event at a specific venue. Open the seating plan for an overview of all available seats, then click on the seats you want to select them.

Please note that the EVENTIM Seating chart booking is not available for all events.

General admission

General admission refers to seating or standing areas that are not assigned or reserved, and are occupied on a first-come, first-served basis. When purchasing tickets for a General admission event, you may be quoted section, row and seat numbers, however these are for inventory purposes only and do not reflect any actual seating location. Seating arrangements vary for each event, and there may or may not be seats of any kind available.

Seat or standing ticket subject to availability

This price category mainly comprises seats, although this is not guaranteed. Under certain circumstances, you may receive a standing ticket for the same price. We're sorry, but we cannot guarantee to fulfil specific wishes regarding seating or standing tickets. It is not possible to exchange the tickets you receive.

Currently not available

If an event, price level or ticket type is 'Not currently available' then all tickets in that category have been sold.

EVENTIM makes every effort to obtain more tickets so check our website regularly for updates.

Delivery not available

If the event is taking place a few days after you place your order, the option to have your tickets delivered via Standard mail will no longer be available. Depending on the event it may be possible to collect your tickets at the venue or print your tickets yourself using ticketdirect.

Only single seats available

In your chosen price level there are now only single seats available. Although there may be a large number of seats available they will not be next to each other. It may be possible to book consecutive seats in a different price level or by using the EVENTIM Seating chart booking.

Concessions

Concession tickets are often available, e.g. to students, children and seniors. If purchasing concession priced tickets, proof of entitlement, e.g. a valid student id card, may be requested by the venue.

Buses:
The following buses stop within a short walking distance from O2 Academy Birmingham on either Bristol Street or Smallbrook Queensway: 44, 61, 62, 63, 64, 66, 66A, 82, 87, 144 & 146

Bus numbers 61, 62 & 63 towards Birmingham City Centre stop directly outside O2 Academy Birmingham.

All buses into the City Centre stop within walking distance of O2 Academy Birmingham.

There are major changes to bus services in Central Birmingham from July 22nd, due to closure of Corporation Street and Upper Bull Street to buses. For up to date information and new stopping places, click here.

Trains:
Birmingham New Street station is the central hub of the UK’s rail network and has direct routes to all of Birmingham’s suburbs and the West Midlands, as well as major UK cities including London (1hr 25mins), Bristol (1hr 30mins), Manchester (1hr 40mins), Cardiff (2hrs) and Leeds (2hrs 45mins). The O2 Academy is a 10 minute walk from New Street in the direction of the Radisson Hotel, from where the venue is visible.

National Express Coach Station:
All coach services into Birmingham City Centre stop at Digbeth Coach Station which is a 10 minute walk to O2 Academy Birmingham.


Taxis:
There is a taxi rank immediately outside O2 Academy Birmingham within the bus lane which is in operation from 9pm until 6am.

Blue Arrow Cars (0121 688 7777) is the nearest taxi office to O2 Academy Birmingham (24hr) and is located on the opposite side of the road on Bristol Street.

Spaces may be limited and will be sold on a first come first served basis and you must book directly through the venue to ensure access.

You can also contact the box office through text relay www.textrelay.org.uk should this be required.

Disabled access spaces are limited so you must contact the venue prior to purchasing. If you purchase tickets independently we will try to accommodate you but there are no guarantees.

There are a limited number of free carer spaces made available for customers entitled to a Blue Badge or Disability Living Allowance. Where there is availability, each eligible customer is entitled to one free carer.
