A Killer's Confession are an American alternative metal band formed by vocalist Waylon Reavis, widely recognised for his previous work with Mushroomhead. Established in 2016, the project combines the aggression of modern metal with melodic songwriting, electronic textures and emotionally charged lyrics. Drawing on Reavis's extensive experience within the heavy music scene, A Killer's Confession have developed a distinctive sound that explores personal struggles, resilience and darker aspects of human experience through powerful vocals and heavy instrumental arrangements.
The band's debut album "Unbroken", released in 2017, introduced their combination of modern metal production, memorable choruses and intense lyrical themes. Subsequent releases including "The Indifference of Good Men" and "Remember" demonstrated their continuing musical development, incorporating alternative metal, hard rock and contemporary heavy music influences. Reavis's recognisable vocal delivery remains central to the band's identity, moving between aggressive passages and melodic sections that add emotional depth to their songs. Their music appeals to listeners who appreciate the balance between heaviness and accessible songwriting.
Live, A Killer's Confession deliver an energetic performance driven by powerful guitar riffs, forceful percussion and Reavis's commanding stage presence. Their concerts bring together the intensity of modern metal with the emotional connection of songs exploring personal conflict and determination. The combination of heavy breakdowns and memorable vocal melodies creates a dynamic atmosphere for audiences who enjoy alternative metal and hard rock. For fans of Mushroomhead and contemporary heavy music, an A Killer's Confession concert offers an opportunity to experience a band built around experience, individuality and uncompromising musical expression.
