Ah! Kosmos & Hainbach bring together two distinctive voices from experimental electronic music for a live experience built around texture, atmosphere and sonic exploration. Ah! Kosmos is the project of Istanbul born artist Basak Gunak, whose work moves through electronic composition, sound art and immersive performance. Berlin based composer and electronic musician Hainbach is known for transforming vintage laboratory equipment, tape machines and unusual electronic instruments into richly textured music.
Both artists approach electronic sound as something to be explored rather than confined to a conventional formula. Ah! Kosmos creates detailed compositions where electronics, rhythm and atmosphere interact, while Hainbach has developed a distinctive practice around obsolete technology, analogue processes and experimental recording techniques. Bringing these approaches together creates intriguing possibilities for listeners interested in ambient music, experimental electronics and contemporary sound art.
Live, Ah! Kosmos & Hainbach offer an experience where subtle changes in tone, texture and volume can become as important as traditional melody or rhythm. Their performances invite audiences to listen closely as layers of electronic sound develop and transform within the room. For fans of experimental music and adventurous live performance, seeing Ah! Kosmos & Hainbach offers an opportunity to experience two inventive artists exploring the boundaries between concert, composition and sound art.
