Alex Hart is a Devon-born folk-pop singer-songwriter whose rich vocals, emotive storytelling, and acoustic roots have earned her strong recognition in the UK country and roots scene. From her early teens she showed talent for guitar and songwriting, drawing influence from folk and country greats while weaving in her own authentic voice and perspective.

Her debut album On This Day introduced Alex to a wider audience, supported by a high profile cover with electronic duo Electronic Youth of I Wish I Didn’t Miss You, which reached the top of the Music Week Dance Charts and secured radio play on BBC Radio 1. The success of that release led to festival performances and support slots, including opening for Turin Brakes at Lyme Regis Folk Festival.

Alex has released her latest album Visions in 2023. Visions is self-funded and deeply personal, featuring collaborations with folk luminaries such as Seth Lakeman and Martin Barre of Jethro Tull. Songs like Fix This (featuring Seth Lakeman) and Blackbird (featuring Benji Kirkpatrick) explore themes of resilience, isolation and hope. She co-writes many of her songs and plays multiple instruments, bringing an organic, intimate feel to both her album work and her live performances.

On stage Alex performs with a full band and trio setup bringing her songs to life with strong arrangements, tight harmony, acoustic instrumentation and emotional clarity. Her live shows balance intimate folk moments with more powerful ensemble pieces, and she has toured extensively in the UK, Europe and the USA. Notable moments include performing “Higher We Aspire” live on BBC Breakfast and delivering sell out shows in her home region.

In 2025 Alex Hart continues to tour across the UK with her band, releasing new music and building on the momentum from Visions. Audiences can expect a setlist combining fan favourites, fresh material, and heartfelt connection through lyrical authenticity and folk-pop warmth.
