Anna Erhard is a singer songwriter whose distinctive indie pop combines understated melodies, dry humour and sharply observed lyrics. Originally from Switzerland and based in Berlin, Erhard first became known through the band Serafyn before developing her solo career. Her music takes everyday situations, strange observations and personal experiences and turns them into inventive songs with an intimate, unconventional character.
Her solo work has established a style that moves between indie pop, alternative songwriting and subtle electronic and guitar based textures. Albums including Short Cut and Campsite demonstrate her talent for finding inspiration in ordinary details, pairing conversational lyrics with arrangements that can feel playful, minimalist and quietly addictive. This individual approach has helped Erhard stand apart within the European independent music scene.
Live, Anna Erhard brings the understated personality of her recordings into an intimate performance setting. Her songs benefit from close attention, allowing witty lyrics, unusual details and carefully constructed melodies to emerge naturally, while the live arrangements add another dimension to her distinctive songwriting. For audiences interested in independent artists with an original perspective, an Anna Erhard concert offers a chance to experience clever, characterful indie pop in a direct and engaging setting.
