Arabrot is a Norwegian rock band led by Kjetil Nernes, known for an uncompromising sound that draws together noise rock, alternative rock, metal and experimental music. Formed in the early 2000s, Arabrot have developed a reputation for challenging expectations through intense songwriting, unusual arrangements and a dark theatrical sensibility. Their extensive catalogue demonstrates a willingness to evolve while maintaining the abrasive energy that has long defined the project.

Across numerous albums and releases, Arabrot have moved between punishing noise, heavy riffs and increasingly expansive songwriting. The band's work has attracted attention within international underground and alternative music circles, while its creative approach has allowed elements of art rock, Gothic atmosphere and experimental composition to enter the sound. At the centre remains Nernes, whose distinctive vocals and songwriting give Arabrot a consistently recognisable identity.

Arabrot concerts bring this combination of heaviness and theatricality into a visceral live environment. Distorted guitars, forceful rhythms and commanding vocals create a performance that can move from unsettling atmosphere to explosive intensity. For audiences drawn to noise rock, experimental metal and adventurous alternative music, seeing Arabrot live provides an opportunity to experience the band's distinctive sound at its loudest and most immediate.
