Mike + The Mechanics, an English rock supergroup formed in 1985 by Mike Rutherford during a Genesis hiatus, gained fame with hit singles like "Silent Running" and "The Living Years." Initially, the lineup included Rutherford, Paul Carrack, Paul Young, Adrian Lee, and Peter Van Hooke. After changes and Young's passing in 2000, Carrack took the lead until the band dissolved in 2004. In 2010, Rutherford revived the band with new members, including vocalists Andrew Roachford and Tim Howar. They released albums like "The Road" (2011) and "Let Me Fly" (2017), continuing to tour and staying relevant with releases like "Out of the Blue" (2019).
