BEN WATERS TRIO brings the exhilarating piano playing of British musician Ben Waters into an intimate band setting shaped by boogie woogie, blues and rock and roll. Waters is widely recognised for his energetic approach to the piano and has performed with major names from the worlds of rock and blues, building a reputation as an accomplished musician with a deep understanding of traditional rhythm driven styles.
Ben Waters has worked with musicians including members of The Rolling Stones and other established rock performers, while maintaining a career centred on the boogie woogie and blues traditions that first inspired him. The trio format provides room for his piano playing to lead the music while bass, drums and rhythmic interplay create the momentum essential to the style.
Live, BEN WATERS TRIO turn boogie woogie into an energetic concert experience driven by fast piano lines, blues rhythms and spontaneous musicianship. The compact trio format keeps the interaction between the players immediate, giving audiences a close view of musicians responding to one another in real time. For blues, rock and piano fans, a BEN WATERS TRIO concert offers an evening of musicianship designed to move as well as entertain.
