Big Country

One of my biggest regrets was not seeing them back in the day but I was hugely apprehensive about going to see them in 2024 after tragedy and so many changes but I had nothing to fear. They were very much on top of their game. They are essentially like Trigger's Broom but in a really good way.

Big County were brilliant. Great musicians, really tight and a brilliant selection of songs. As a friend on mine suggested I closed my eyes and was transported back to the 80’s!

Other than I could barely hear the guitars they were great. I feel they needed to boost the volume on the lead guitar as everything else was overriding the sound of the lead. Up your volume guys.
