Bilk was formed in 2017 in Essex, England. The band consists of three members: Sol Abrahams on vocals and guitar, Luke Hare on bass, and James Holland on drums. Drawing inspiration from various musical styles, including indie rock, punk, and hip-hop, Bilk creates a unique and dynamic sound that sets them apart from traditional indie bands.

The band's early success came with the release of their debut single "Give Up" in 2018, which garnered attention for its infectious hooks and catchy lyrics.
