Calligram x Forlorn brings together two uncompromising forces from the UK heavy music underground. London based Calligram are known for combining black metal intensity with hardcore aggression, creating a sound that is fast, abrasive and emotionally charged. Forlorn complement that darkness with their own atmospheric and powerful approach to modern heavy music, making this pairing an enticing prospect for audiences searching for adventurous metal beyond conventional genre boundaries.
Calligram have developed a reputation through releases including The Eye Is the First Circle and Position | Momentum, combining ferocious blast beats, dense guitar work and visceral vocals. Their music draws strength from contrast, moving between relentless speed and atmospheric passages. Forlorn bring another dimension to the bill, using heaviness, texture and emotional intensity to create music that feels immersive as well as confrontational.
Live, Calligram x Forlorn offers an experience built around raw energy and atmosphere. Both acts create music designed to achieve maximum impact in intimate venues, where heavy riffs and explosive rhythms can surround the audience. For followers of black metal, hardcore and experimental heavy music, this show provides an opportunity to experience two distinctive artists pushing contemporary extreme music in their own directions.
