Cordia are an emerging act bringing their own identity to the independent music circuit through songwriting, performance and an emphasis on atmosphere. Developing artists often find their strongest connection with audiences on stage, and Cordia's presence on the live circuit provides music fans with an opportunity to discover new material in the intimate surroundings of grassroots venues.
Their approach centres on the essential ingredients of memorable independent music, distinctive songs, expressive performance and the ability to create a mood that extends beyond the recordings themselves. Cordia are part of a live music culture in which audiences can encounter new artists before larger stages and wider recognition arrive, making each appearance an opportunity to hear how the material continues to develop.
Seeing Cordia live brings listeners closer to the details of the performance, from quieter musical passages to moments of greater intensity. That immediacy is one of the enduring attractions of discovering emerging artists in concert, where every venue and audience can give the songs a slightly different character. For listeners keen to explore new independent music and support grassroots performers, Cordia are an act worth experiencing on stage.
