Django Django are a British art rock and electronic band known for their inventive combination of psychedelic pop, indie rock, electronic music and dance influenced rhythms. Formed in London, the group released their self titled debut album in 2012, introducing a distinctive sound filled with layered harmonies, unusual percussion and colourful production. Songs including "Default" and "Waveforms" helped establish Django Django as one of the most creative British alternative bands of their generation.
Across albums including Born Under Saturn, Marble Skies, Glowing in the Dark and Off Planet, Django Django have continued to experiment with different musical styles while maintaining their unmistakable identity. Their catalogue moves between psychedelic melodies, electronic textures, energetic rhythms and adventurous pop songwriting, creating music that feels equally suited to headphones, clubs and festival stages. This willingness to explore new sounds has kept the band evolving throughout their career.
Live, Django Django transform their detailed studio productions into energetic performances driven by rhythm, vocal harmonies and electronic experimentation. Their concerts bring together established favourites and newer material, allowing the band's psychedelic influences and danceable grooves to take on additional intensity on stage. For fans of alternative music, electronic pop and inventive British indie, a Django Django concert offers a colourful and immersive experience from a band that consistently pushes beyond conventional genre boundaries.
