Dr Feelgood bring their unmistakable rhythm and blues sound back to the stage with the 'Doctors Orders' Tour. Formed on Canvey Island in Essex in the early 1970s, Dr Feelgood became one of the defining bands of the British pub rock movement, earning a reputation for direct, energetic performances built around blues, rock and roll and rhythm and blues influences.
The band's catalogue includes enduring favourites such as "Roxette", "Back in the Night", "Milk and Alcohol" and "She Does It Right". Their stripped back approach and relentless live energy helped provide an important bridge between British rhythm and blues and the punk explosion that followed. Decades after their formation, the Dr Feelgood name remains closely associated with hard working live musicianship and no nonsense rock and roll.
The 'Doctors Orders' Tour gives audiences another opportunity to experience that music in its natural environment, on stage and at full volume. Driving rhythms, blues influenced guitar and a catalogue created for live performance make Dr Feelgood concerts an appealing choice for longtime followers and newer fans of classic British rock. Expect an evening focused on songs, musicianship and the enduring power of rhythm and blues.
