As an observational stand up Ed Byrne is unrivalled. He has played in major comedy venues across the UK and Ireland, including the Vaudeville, Riverside, and New Ambassadors theatres in London, and the Gaiety, Olympia, Ambassador, and Vicar St. theatres in Dublin. His UK tours are always hugely popular and well received by the critics.
It's difficult to review this show without spoilers because the context is so important but I shall try.
This is quite simply the best comedy show I've ever attended. Ed was fantastic in a comedic sense and his wit and skill that we all know from the Telly, is out there on resplendent display.
But in reality it's his honesty and vulnerability which make this much more than a watched experience. This is shared emotion, prompted by the performer but genuinely entered into by the whole crow...
