Eville are a Brighton-based alternative metal trio made up of singer and guitarist Eva Sheldrake, bassist, vocalist and producer Jude Richards, and drummer Milo Hemsley. Describing their sound as “brat metal”, the band combine heavy riffs and nu-metal influences with electronic elements, drum and bass and pop hooks. Their music brings together the force of heavy rock and the energy of electronic production.
The band released their debut EP, BRAT METAL, in 2025, introducing listeners to a collection of songs that showcases their blend of metal and electronic sounds. Their subsequent releases include the single SLAY, which accompanied the announcement of their EP BRATPOCALYPSE. Across their recordings, Eville pair Sheldrake's vocals and guitar with Richards' bass and production and Hemsley's drums.
Eville have brought their music to stages across the UK, including appearances at Reading & Leeds and 2000 Trees. They have also toured alongside other alternative acts, giving audiences the chance to experience their combination of heavy guitars, electronic influences and melodic choruses live. For fans of alternative metal and genre-crossing rock, an Eville show offers an introduction to the band's distinctive sound.
