FM Unplugged presents a more intimate side of British melodic rock band FM, known for their powerful vocals, memorable choruses and polished songwriting. Formed in London in 1984, FM became an important name within the British melodic rock and AOR scene, combining blues influenced guitar work with accessible rock melodies. Fronted by singer Steve Overland, the band developed a loyal following through albums and live performances that showcased their distinctive blend of musical craftsmanship and emotional expression.

FM achieved recognition with albums including "Indiscreet", "Tough It Out" and "Aphrodisiac", producing fan favourites such as "That Girl", "Frozen Heart" and "Bad Luck". Their music combines the melodic appeal of classic rock with expressive vocals and carefully arranged instrumentation. Over the decades, FM have continued to release new material and perform for audiences across the UK and beyond, maintaining their reputation as a respected act within melodic rock. The unplugged format provides an opportunity to explore the songwriting behind their familiar electric arrangements.

Live, FM Unplugged offers a different perspective on the band's catalogue, placing greater emphasis on acoustic instrumentation, vocal harmonies and the emotional character of individual songs. Stripped back arrangements allow audiences to appreciate the melodies and lyrics that have helped define FM's music for decades. The intimate atmosphere creates a closer connection between performers and listeners, making the concert appealing to both longtime followers and newcomers. For fans of classic rock, melodic songwriting and acoustic live performances, FM Unplugged offers a memorable musical experience.
