Getdown Services are one of the UK’s most exciting and unconventional emerging acts, blending razor-sharp social commentary with danceable grooves and an unmistakably irreverent edge. Known for their wild, high-energy live shows and genre-bending sound, the duo have built a cult following with music that sits somewhere between post-punk, electro-pop, and theatrical alt-rock always unpredictable, always brilliantly tongue-in-cheek.

Formed by Bristol-based musicians Benny Courage and Luke Stidson, Getdown Services burst onto the scene with a series of DIY releases that combined sardonic lyricism, pulsing beats, and gritty electronics. Their breakout record Crisps earned attention for its off-kilter humour, biting observations about modern life, and fusion of synth basslines, sharp guitars, and infectious hooks.

Tracks like She Wants to Be a Rockstar and Crisps became live favourites, showcasing the band’s ability to turn the mundane into the surreal, and the surreal into something strangely relatable.
