GlobalGathering is a dance musical festival established in 2001. It is held annually in ten countries including the UK.
In the UK, GlobalGathering is held on the last weekend of July at Long Marston Airfield in Stratford-Upon-Avon for two days and two nights. It provides music from the whole spectrum of electronic music, including house, trance, dubstep, drum’n’bass and hiphop. It has won the Best UK Festival award from DJ Magazine twice and is seen as the industry leader for worldwide electronic festivals. Over 80,000 people descend upon the airfield to enjoy music from over 100 artists, 16 stages, arenas and terraces each year.
GlobalGathering is known for its slick production operation. The campsites are the size of 50 football pitches and there is a separate private VIP area with Jacuzzis and a special golden circle for main stage viewing. Attractions like stalls, fairgrounds and food stalls surround the stages, and the whole site is immaculately decorated and presented. GlobalGathering tickets are among the most sought-after of the scene.
