Hermanos Gutierrez are a Swiss Ecuadorian instrumental duo formed by brothers Estevan and Alejandro Gutierrez. Known for their cinematic guitar sound, the pair combine influences from Latin American music, western film scores, surf rock and psychedelic music. With no vocals required to tell their stories, their evocative guitar melodies create vivid musical landscapes filled with warmth, space and atmosphere.
The brothers have developed an international following through releases including El Bueno Y El Malo and Sonido Cosmico. Their collaboration with producer Dan Auerbach helped introduce their distinctive instrumental style to an even wider audience, while their recordings continue to showcase the remarkable musical chemistry between the two brothers. Reverb rich guitars, hypnotic rhythms and carefully controlled arrangements give Hermanos Gutierrez an instantly recognisable sound.
Live, Hermanos Gutierrez transform their atmospheric recordings into an immersive concert experience. Their performances allow subtle guitar conversations and rhythmic details to unfold naturally, creating moments that can feel intimate even within larger venues. For fans of instrumental music, psychedelic sounds and cinematic guitar, a Hermanos Gutierrez concert offers the opportunity to experience the unique connection between two musicians who communicate through melody.
