I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME, also known as iDKHOW, is the alternative pop project led by American musician and songwriter Dallon Weekes. First emerging in 2016, the project combines alternative rock, synth pop, new wave and theatrical pop with a distinctive retro inspired aesthetic. Weekes, previously known for his work with Panic! at the Disco and The Brobecks, has shaped iDKHOW into a creative world built around sharp songwriting, memorable hooks and an imaginative visual identity.
The project gained widespread attention with songs including "Choke", "Do It All the Time" and "Leave Me Alone", while releases such as "Razzmatazz" expanded its combination of vintage influences and modern alternative production. Dallon Weekes draws inspiration from different periods of pop and rock while maintaining a sound that is immediately recognisable, combining prominent bass lines, synthesizers, energetic rhythms and charismatic vocals.
Live, I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME brings this colourful musical identity to the stage with energy, personality and a strong connection between performer and audience. Songs built around infectious choruses and rhythmic bass lines gain additional impact in concert, while the theatrical character of the project adds another dimension to the performance. For fans of alternative pop, new wave and inventive modern rock, an iDKHOW concert offers an entertaining combination of musicianship, style and irresistible hooks.
