IAMDDB is a Manchester based singer, songwriter and artist known for a distinctive sound that brings together alternative R&B, hip hop, jazz, soul and contemporary electronic influences. Born Diana De Brito, she emerged as an exciting voice in the UK music scene through an independent approach, confident songwriting and a vocal style capable of moving effortlessly between smooth melodies and rhythmic flows. Her music combines introspection with self assurance, giving IAMDDB a recognisable identity within modern British alternative music.
Projects including "Hoodrich Vol. 3" helped expand IAMDDB's audience, while tracks such as "Shade" became important introductions to her atmospheric sound. Her catalogue moves freely between soulful vocals, laid back beats and harder hip hop influenced moments, reflecting a creative approach that resists being confined to a single genre. This versatility has helped establish IAMDDB as an artist with a strong individual perspective and an international following.
Live, IAMDDB brings the confidence and fluidity of her recorded music directly to the stage. Her performances can shift between intimate, soulful moments and bass driven tracks with an energy suited to clubs, concert venues and festivals alike. For audiences drawn to alternative R&B, UK hip hop and forward thinking contemporary music, an IAMDDB concert offers the chance to experience her distinctive vocals, genre blending sound and commanding stage presence in person.
