Incubus is an American rock band that was formed in 1991 in Calabasas, California. The band's original members were Brandon Boyd (vocals), Mike Einziger (guitar), Jose Pasillas (drums), Alex "Dirk Lance" Katunich (bass), and Gavin "DJ Lyfe" Koppell (turntables).

Incubus gained popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s with their unique blend of alternative rock, funk, and metal influences. They became known for their melodic hooks, introspective lyrics, and versatile musical style.
