The Honorable Jimmy Cliff is a Jamaican ska and reggae singer, musician, and actor. He is the only currently living musician to hold the Order of Merit, the highest honor that can be granted by the Jamaican government for achievement in the arts and sciences.
He is best known among mainstream audiences for songs such as "Sitting in Limbo", "You Can Get It If You Really Want", and "Many Rivers to Cross" from the soundtrack to The Harder They Come, which helped popularize reggae across the world.
Dr. Cliff is also well known for his covers of Cat Stevens' "Wild World" and Johnny Nash's "I Can See Clearly Now" from the film Cool Runnings. Outside of the reggae world, he is best known for his film appearance in The Harder They Come. Jimmy Cliff was one of five performers inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
Jimmy was brilliant BUT the venue does NOTguarantee you a seat upstairs when I had paid £80 for x2 tickets and my 65yr old Mum had to sit on her own and was lucky to get a seat. This is a strange situation to be in and causes unecessary tensions .The Grand is not and needs to sort itself out really. Mr Cliff though was excellent and gets 5 stars!!!!!
Awesome!

Jimmy Cliff was great no problems there - what let it down was the fact I purchased tickets for seating - paid for a ticket to SIT and was unable to as there were no seats left! poor, poor, poor, my father is 74 years old (hence buying a ticket to sit, for such a long period of time) but when arriving at the venue the seats were all taken! clearly more seating tickets were issued than there were seats!
