LA PRIEST is the experimental pop project of British musician Sam Eastgate, an inventive songwriter and producer known for combining electronic music, funk, psychedelic pop and unconventional production ideas. Previously recognised as the frontman of Late of the Pier, Eastgate launched LA PRIEST as a distinctive solo project that gives him space to explore playful rhythms, unusual instrumentation and an imaginative approach to songwriting. The result is colourful, unpredictable music that moves comfortably between accessible pop melodies and experimental sounds.

LA PRIEST established his individual identity with the album Inji, featuring tracks such as "Oino" and "Party Zute / Learning to Love", before continuing his musical exploration with releases including GENE and Fase Luna. Across his catalogue, Eastgate experiments with synthesizers, guitars, homemade instruments and shifting rhythms, creating music filled with unexpected details. His distinctive production style has made LA PRIEST an intriguing presence within British alternative and electronic music.

Live, LA PRIEST brings this experimental approach to the stage, transforming intricate recordings into energetic and immersive performances. Electronic textures, hypnotic grooves and psychedelic melodies combine with Eastgate's individual performance style, giving audiences the opportunity to experience the spontaneous side of his music. For listeners drawn to alternative pop, electronic experimentation and artists who refuse to follow predictable formulas, a LA PRIEST concert offers an imaginative night of live music.
