Formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2006, Lady Antebellum are a country music group consisting of three members: Charles Kelley on lead and backing vocals, Hillary Scott who also sings lead and backing vocals; and Dave Haywood on backing vocals, piano, mandolin and guitar. It was through family connections within the music industry that the band were launched and began to sell Lady Antebellum tickets (Charles Kelley is the brother of pop artists Josh Kelley and Hillary Scott), first performing in local venues in Nashville before eventually being signed by Capitol Records in 2007.
