Leicester Music Festival is the brainchild of two leading Leicester businessmen, Shane Whitfield and Manoj Keshavji.
Shane and Manoj are both passionate about bringing A-list and international music acts to the city, to appeal to a diverse fan base. With more than £1million invested in LMF, they hope the event will put the spotlight on Leicester as an entertainment destination and boost the local economy.
LMF has already won the backing of home-grown X Factor favourite Sam Bailey, former Leicester City Captain Steve Walsh and Leicester City Mayor Peter Soulsby. It is expected to sell out, with a capacity of 22,000 music- lovers allowed in each day.

Billy Ocean was the best artist by far, the beer was almost cheaper than water, thats ok but 12 hours in the sun and having to drive home not the best option :-(
