LIFE DRAWING offers participants the opportunity to develop their observational and artistic skills through drawing the human form from life. A longstanding practice within visual art, life drawing encourages artists to study proportion, gesture, movement, light and shape while developing their own individual approach to mark making and interpretation.
Life drawing sessions can be valuable for both experienced artists and people who simply want to explore drawing in a social and creative environment. Working directly from a model encourages participants to observe carefully and respond quickly, while different poses provide opportunities to experiment with composition, technique and materials.
Attending LIFE DRAWING provides an opportunity to step away from screens and spend time focused on creativity and observation. Every drawing becomes a record of an individual moment and perspective, making the process as important as the finished work. For artists, beginners and anyone interested in trying a hands on creative activity, LIFE DRAWING offers an engaging live experience.
