With a tradition of opera performances in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, since the 19th Century, the internationally acclaimed Rostov State Opera and Ballet, originally founded in 1931, carries on the legacy to this day. Now in its 81st year, the company has not been seen in the UK since 2007.
