Lost Voice Guy is the stage name of British comedian Lee Ridley, a groundbreaking performer known for delivering stand up comedy using a communication aid. Born with cerebral palsy and unable to speak, Ridley has developed a distinctive comic style that turns technology, timing and sharply observed writing into a unique performance voice. His originality and dry sense of humour have made him one of the most recognisable comedians on the British circuit.
Ridley reached a huge national audience when he won Britain's Got Talent in 2018, becoming the first comedian to win the competition. Beyond television, he has built an established career through stand up tours, festival appearances, radio work and writing. His comedy frequently draws on his own experiences while challenging assumptions about disability, communication and everyday life with wit rather than sentimentality.
Live, Lost Voice Guy demonstrates how strong writing and precise comic timing can turn an unconventional stand up format into a distinctive advantage. His shows combine personal stories, observations and carefully constructed punchlines, with his communication device becoming an integral part of the rhythm of the performance. For comedy audiences looking for an original perspective and a performer who approaches stand up differently, Lost Voice Guy delivers a clever, entertaining and memorable night out.
