Lou Sanders is an English stand-up comedian, writer, and actress known for her wit and humor. Born and raised in Broadstairs, Kent, she took an unconventional path by moving out at the age of 15. Sanders later earned a degree in Communication and Cultural Studies from London Metropolitan University.
As a live performer, Sanders has taken her comedy to stages both in the UK and internationally. Her show "Shame Pig" was a joint winner of the Comedians' Choice Award for Best Show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2018. She continued to showcase her talent at the festival with her 2019 show, "Say Hello to Your New Step Mummy."
Sanders gained widespread acclaim by winning the eighth series of Taskmaster in 2019. Her comedic prowess has led to appearances on numerous television shows, including QI, Would I Lie to You?, and Live at the Apollo. She has also acted in sitcoms such as "This Way Up" and "Sick of It."
