Marc Almond is an acclaimed English singer, songwriter and performer whose distinctive voice and dramatic style have made him an enduring figure in British music. He first rose to international fame as one half of synth pop duo Soft Cell, whose recording of "Tainted Love" became one of the defining hits of the early 1980s. Across a career spanning more than four decades, Almond has explored synth pop, electronic music, cabaret, chanson and sophisticated pop, building a diverse catalogue distinguished by emotional storytelling and unmistakable vocals.

Following the success of Soft Cell, Marc Almond established an extensive solo career that demonstrated his versatility as both a singer and interpreter of songs. His solo catalogue includes the major hit "Something's Gotten Hold of My Heart", recorded with Gene Pitney, alongside albums and collaborations that have allowed him to move confidently between mainstream pop and more adventurous musical territory. His continued creativity and influence have established Almond as a distinctive and respected presence within British popular music.

Live, Marc Almond brings together the theatricality, emotion and musical variety that have characterised his career. Audiences can experience songs from his solo catalogue alongside music connected with Soft Cell, with his expressive vocals giving familiar favourites a powerful live dimension. From atmospheric ballads to instantly recognisable pop classics, a Marc Almond concert celebrates a remarkable body of work and offers longtime followers and newer listeners the opportunity to experience one of Britain's most distinctive performers on stage.
