MARJOLEIN ROBERTSON is a Scottish comedian, storyteller and performer from Shetland, known for comedy that combines personal experience, island life, folklore and a distinctive observational perspective. Drawing inspiration from her Shetland upbringing, Robertson has developed a style that can move between sharply funny everyday observations and stories rooted in the culture, landscape and traditions of the islands.

Her work has attracted attention on the UK comedy circuit and at major comedy festivals, where her storytelling and individual perspective have helped distinguish her from conventional stand up. Robertson uses personal material and carefully constructed narratives to explore family, identity and the peculiarities of life in Shetland, turning specific experiences into comedy that can connect with audiences far beyond the islands.

Live, MARJOLEIN ROBERTSON combines the intimacy of storytelling with the unpredictability and immediacy of stand up comedy. Her performances allow audiences to enter a world shaped by distinctive characters, unusual stories and a strong sense of place, while her conversational delivery keeps the experience personal and engaging. For comedy fans looking for an original voice and storytelling with a strong identity, a MARJOLEIN ROBERTSON show offers an entertaining and memorable night out.
