Metalheadz Blue Note Sessions celebrates one of the most influential chapters in the history of British drum and bass. Founded by Goldie, Kemistry and Storm in the 1990s, Metalheadz became a defining force within the development of jungle and drum and bass, championing innovative production, experimental rhythms and powerful bass driven music. The legendary Metalheadz sessions at London's Blue Note club helped establish the label's reputation as a centre for groundbreaking electronic music and underground club culture.

During the mid 1990s, the Metalheadz Sunday Sessions at the Blue Note in Hoxton became an important gathering place for DJs, producers and dedicated music fans. The events showcased influential artists and helped introduce new approaches to breakbeat programming, atmospheric production and bass music. Metalheadz releases and performances have featured major figures within the drum and bass scene, contributing to a musical movement that continues to influence electronic music worldwide. The Blue Note legacy remains closely associated with creativity, community and the development of a distinctive British sound.

Live, Metalheadz Blue Note Sessions offers audiences the opportunity to experience the atmosphere and musical heritage of this influential club movement. Deep basslines, intricate breakbeats and carefully selected tracks create an immersive dancefloor environment that celebrates both the history and continuing evolution of drum and bass.
